The Energy of You Volume XX Issue #16 Hi Reader, I am not prone to headaches or migraines, so this was unusual. Then I got a text from my client saying her headache had disappeared. The lightbulb went off. I had taken on her energy. I did a quick energy clearing, and the pain subsided. It completely disappeared by lunchtime. This happened early in my journey as a healer. It’s a common mistake, absorbing the energy of what you’re healing. A lesson in what not to do, well learned. This was one of my first real lessons in understanding how sensitive our energy fields are — and how easy it is to pick up energetic static from the world around us, even outside of formal healing sessions. You’ve probably felt this, too, even if you didn't realize it. We all do it in varying degrees in our daily lives. Have you ever noticed how a room feels after a heated argument, even if no one says a word? Energy isn't just something you “have.” Just like you clean your body or clear clutter from your home, your energy needs regular cleansing, too. Good news: Energy is very malleable. You can clear and realign your energy field gently and naturally. And when you do, flow returns. Your body relaxes. Your intuition sharpens. It’s still quick 5 - 7 minutes once you learn it. Here is the original version Donna Eden's Daily Energy Routine [OFFICIAL VERSION] Your energy is precious. Cathy P.S. The Energy of You Volume XX Issue #20 Hi Reader, “What if a huge boulder rolled down the hill onto the road in front of us and a bear was hibernating on top of it?” my 8-year-old son excitedly asked as he bounced in his seat. It was a favorite car game, the ‘What If’ game. All of the kids got a turn to spin a fantastical scene, and I had to find a solution. We all got a ton of laughs from that game, and it kept them thoroughly entertained. Fast forward many years, and I see the ‘What If’ game...
The Energy of You Volume XX Issue #19 Hi Reader, I spent last Sunday at the We Can Do Hard Things book launch with my friend Tawnya. We chatted as we walked around the city (not as much as our norm due to a foot injury I sustained last week). With all of the uncertainty and chaos in the world right now, my energy has not been flowing as smoothly as I’m used to. It's like there’s static in the signal. This has shown up in many ways: timing missteps, a lingering virus, the foot injury mentioned...
The Energy of You Volume XX Issue #18 Hi Reader, I celebrated my 60th birthday a little over a year and a half ago. In the months leading up to it, something shifted—not all at once, but gradually. I kept thinking: This is the beginning of the end. Things are supposed to slow down now. And without realizing it, I started shrinking. A couple of new opportunities came up in my business, but I let them quietly wither. I stopped taking new art classes. I turned down social invitations. Nothing...
